Here are my responses to the mock-interview, not Jules:
- Where does your post inspiration come from? My brain.
- What’s your typical process for developing and writing a post? Mostly text, some images, no video or audio.
- What are your five daily reads? goodjohnjr.wordpress.com, dailymessenger.blogspot.com, thoughtquestions.com, plinky.com, dailypost.wordpress.com
- You have a vibrant and engaged community of readers and commenters. How did you create and sustain it?
- What are your top three tips for new or struggling bloggers? Keep it real (not TOO open and honest), Stay on topic (no rambling, ranting, raving), Go with the flow (change is good. Nothing is “permanent”). However, I don’t follow my own tips! Beware!
- Why did you choose WordPress.com? The platform rocks! It’s easy, user-friendly and versatile. Plus the team is uber smart.
- What does your blogging setup look like (computer, surroundings, etc.)? Who cares? Nothing stays the same. Choose from many free themes. Buy Custom Design for personalization.
- Which of your posts has had the most influence on your readers, and why? Per the “Tags & Category” stats, it looks like “news” and “postaday”
- Are there topics you’ll never write about? Graphic/violent stuff. It’s too gross and heavy to read. Even I’m lightening up on my rant. Boring!
- Tell us about how a commenter or reader had an impact on you. Well, I have to watch what I say and do as I’m told. Don’t know who these strangers are – could be spooks. Paranoid! Most commentators are specially-gifted and nice, too. So no worries!
