Well, that technology sure can generate revenue. After all, no one owns the road, a public domain paid for by taxpayers with the assurance for public safety. The vehicles must be registered, fees and taxes must be paid, and drivers must be tested.
Therefore, such technology helps the police. Don’t mind the conspiracy of “big brother” for now. That day could come later with overpopulation/crowd control agendas.
