So for FOUR hours, Maw has talked over the phone (long distance) with her niece — the only one that lives/works in Manila.
It so happens that our relatives have an unfavorable opinion of the boy’s “wifey” as posted via Facebook. She is NOT the most attractive woman for this VERY handsome “boy”.
But because the boy refuses to listen to his elders and allowed his vices to over rule “common sense”, we refuse to see him. Actually, the girl RARELY visits us and that tells you a lot about his choice until death to do part!
So guys, if your family and friends make honest comments that may sound unkind about your potential spousal choices, you are better getting hurt NOW by them than suffer negativity throughout your lives through her.
“Maw, she is scared of you”. ~Said the boy long ago. She is afraid of the truth. We will tell both of them to get a divorce. They can hate us throughout eternity for all we care. The girl knows she is no good for him, doesn’t match his passion in life and only cares about herself.
It is game over when you get married, guys. Bahahaha!
