When are you most happy?
20221223-0047. Well the post title contained the incorrect word “being” and is supposed to be “getting” stuff that would make me most happy.
Yesterday I was happy to open up a box containing a new watch. I was being well behaved in front of my elderly father for deserving such a nice gift item to myself.
Unfortunately it was too bulky and that made me upset as I took the trouble of preparing the device and the box and printing the return label and still can’t recall or find where I misplaced the stock of glue to apply to the return label.
The happiness factor of “getting high” was temporary. I was left feeling empty knowing that I wasted my time buying the item online and the gasoline driving to pickup something that turned out to be less than my expectation.
I was hoping that I could get whatever I wanted and be happy. But yesterday was a testament to test exact opposite: unhappiness of NOT having the self control to being happy with whatever I have and NOT with the expectation of what I could have!
So I’m happy after being happy by myself and doing my own things and NOT have to worry about what others think or say, being oblivious to criticism or infinite constraints that would stifle one’s freedom to do whatever and whenever!
Hello Flynn, nice, and good luck!
