Abercrombie Loathes Black So Much That Employees Can’t Wear It To Work – Yahoo! Finance
“Abercrombie & Fitch bans the color black from its brand.”
Off-topic rants:
Personally, I don’t use black color in my wardrobe all that much since I now have short hair and dust could be seen easily upon the shoulders! Besides, we are not mourning anyone, are we? Black is definitely too formal.
In my recent Tweets, I mentioned hows the colors of black and/or white for our new choir gowns/robes might look too Masonic. Maroon, the color of dried blood, was the original color matching the color scheme of our local parish.
I didn’t want electrostatic/shiny/wrinkly material that’s hard to wash/iron; any monograms or ornamentations, such as crosses, doves, compass/square, triangles, etc. I wanted a simple design without stoles, overlays, or cottas and something lightweight/easy to carry and fold, too.
