“What team are you rooting for?” Pete asked of me long ago via a cellphone call.
“I’m a Patriot.” I replied twice in an echo and without thinking to the weight of my answer or the meaning of being a “patriot” years later.

A few minutes ago, I watched a YouTube video of “Pop Superstar MADONNA at Super Bowl XLVI, HALFTIME Show” by “TheHumanSlinky“. I noticed that the theme had lots of light and the colors of red and black. I also noticed how much fun the participants were having.
I loved the vocal of Cee Lo Green. His smooth voice harmonized very well and reminded of islanders. This was the first time I heard him sing.
Later, I noticed how Madonna said “Home” and disappeared into the light below. After her “departure”, the participants dissipated away from the stage. I noticed how the flow of red color resembled lava flowing out. The final imagery of “World Peace” looked like “fire and brimstone” of hell after all the showy “love and light” of heaven.
At around 07:26pm that day Sunday and while we sat together to eat dinner, Paw told me that the “New York Giants had won over the New England Patriots”. Immediately, my thought was how symbolic that ancient giants of Nephilim had won the football game over modern men of conservatives. I didn’t watch the game because I expected something symbolic to happen during the game and/or show and I didn’t want to watch something boring, like grown men “dropping the ball”.
