Day 1 SNF

Sweltering hot in Mom’s room. Blogging out front. OT now evaluating Mom. Excused myself from stuffy room.

Arrived prior to none o’clock. Found VISITOR PARKING ONLY at one of three slots, occupied by employees. Don’t understand why they can’t get car badge and registered to avoid dishonest fools.

Helped Mom with bed pan, wiped her bottom, while Roger the PT evaluated her standing up at walking.

Had to tell nurse NOT to give long acting Lantus due to 101 blood sugar level and not eating and working with therapists.

Long haul for three months. If she doesn’t regain mobility, I quit!
