Off-topic rant only: do be careful what you wish for, especially in prayer. I had to double, nay, triple take on what had happened to Buster the dog, and the clue was that he was “out cold” and NOT totally “keeled over”! Whew! That’s what I get for reading too quickly due to my impatience on reaching the end of any good story.
With that said, the crazy Filipino bitch living adjacent to us was in some MAJOR way an answer to my prayers! How so, Flynn? She’s been a nuisance to your neighbors, your parents, the parishioners, and most especially you since 2009!
Well, I didn’t want my parents to get to involved with parish activities due to the notorious gossiping by the Filipinos. And y’all should know by now that whenever y’all see Filipinos in any church, it belongs to them! Do not doubt unto moi. The pastor is Filipino by the way, which didn’t help. Yup.
In addition, I didn’t wanna stay in that main choir due to politics, starting with the conductor and surprisingly his parents who have connections abroad. They tend to travel frequently and at DEEP discounts due to connections with religious leaders.
And so the Lawd Gawd and pals DO answer prayers for our own good. And Buster the dog, for example, was obviously in good healing hands and too much of a good thing made him “pass out”.
Now if y’all can lay your healing hands upon that nuisance, perhaps y’all can drive away her demons because her daughter, being slightly above autistic, has been having a difficult time in restraining her mother from daily episodes. Her brother doesn’t help. Sigh.
