Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

Last Tuesday evening and after the wise cracker shared horror stories of how desperate relatives would do anything immoral and unethical, just to survive, her beloved son refused to acknowledge this harsh reality. He even blames her for feeling sorry for these losers and for merely mentioning these unfortunate situations. He may be laid-off from a well-paying job pretty soon and the following text message could possibly affect his situation of either looking for a job immediately or borrowing monies from pensioners:

2107. You’re correct! I shouldn’t tolerate bad behaviours, or care about other downfalls, and worry about my own affairs. 🙂

So, I searched online for how to deal/handle with such circumstances and came up with two options: help, if affordable or firmly refuse.

What do y’all think? Play savior or devil’s advocate?
