Greetings, chumps!
Today’s weather is beautiful. I was awake from 0130-0500 this morning due to severe cramping inside my left ankle bone. My middle and ring digits of the left foot did a “Spock” gesture. All I could do is hobble slowly and as noiselessly as possible to the bathroom three times during this early morning and to walk off the cramp. I was thinking that the two slices of pizza prior to midnight prompted an overload of salt and excessive intake of water to wash down the snack attack.
Anyway, I’m still scanning OLD negatives with the audited batches from the 1980’s. Then I gave up and started with my parent’s wedding back in the 1968. I can’t locate and match the negatives with the printed photos and will scan those later and dump the files into the folders of my paid-upgrade account online for storage.
I had to set the “Image Adjustment” of the EPSON Scan to the ‘DIGITAL ICE Technology’ due to the scratches and dusts. I didn’t check-off the “Color Restoration”, which made the images look more reddish and glaring, or the “Backlight Correction”, which made the images look brighter, meaning dark-skinned Filipinos looks whiter than normal.
I’ll work on the OLD negatives starting since 1968 and all the way up to the 1980’s. The rest are really not that great or memorable due to stinking relatives that no longer bother or have anything to do with us. I like the older photos during the times when my family and relatives had lots of birthday parties together.
Now, that we’re older, the feeling is not the same. We went our separate ways and some relatives do contact us. I’m sure that we are still in some small insignificant way within their memory banks and hopefully their memory cells are still intact to remember us.
With lots of slow-ass, time-consuming technology, which isn’t so advanced after all,
Evil Kitty
