In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Our House | What are the earliest memories of the place you lived in as a child? Describe your house. What did it look like? How did it smell? What did it sound like? Was it quiet like a library, or full of the noise of life? Tell us all about it, in as much detail as you can recall.”
Good Flynn: I don’t recall much from my childhood, except there were lots of birthday parties. The swing set out back provided the main attraction for the children.
Evil Kitty: I barely recall the box. It was large and slippery. We kittens hobbled on our unsteady legs as the large beach towel served as our blanket. I loved chewing on that piece of material. It was my security blanket, next to Mom’s fur and siblings’, too.
