In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Out of Reach | Write about the one X that got away — a person, an experience, a place you wanted to visit. How much would you change about your life to have it within reach again?”
Good Flynn: I was smitten by that co-worker. He seemed to enjoyed each other’s company. But he was to intelligent for me and had his own bad habits that I didn’t like. We quietly went out separate ways. However, if I pursued that handsome guy and knew how to better handle my life, I wound have been married with children. But providence had other plans unto moi.
Evil Kitty: The other day I let the fattest birds get away. If I weren’t such a frightful cat, I would have had a full meal of protein and a tummy ache, and a long restful sleep to digest the meal. But since I’m a house cat, my nourishment of soft meat from a tin can is sufficient. I don’t let things get away that easily. It’s much easier a life if things are served by my humanz.
