In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “I’ve Become My Parents. | “Do you ever find yourself doing something your parents used to do when you were a kid, despite the fact you hated it back then?”
Good Flynn: I used to do house chores during my growing years. My parents told me that learning starts at home. The home discipline of doing what I didn’t like was supposed to help me take orders from bosses in the future. Now, I end up doing most of the chores and a little more gardening, which is still Dad’s primary hobby.
Evil Kitty: I used to be licked and cleaned by my mother for my own good. And although I would have rather played with my other litter mates, I was forced to endure these loving sessions. Now, I lick and clean myself just fine with a little help with the grooming comb from my human caretaker.
