In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Mountaintops and Valleys. | Describe a time when you quickly switched from feeling at the top of the world to sinking all the way down (or vice versa). Did you learn anything about yourself in the process?”
Good Flynn: Yes! I realized that being on the top is no better than being on the bottom and that I’m still the same person! I discovered that whatever I could have imagined possibly became a reality based on my perception at that time. I withdrew the notion that I was always powerful and in control of everything and resigned to a contemplative state that everything has its ups and downs as part of life’s design, for whatever reasons unknown.
Evil Kitty: When we felines are at the bottom, we are either hiding underneath a piece of furniture from the vets or ready to pounce on mice from behind the curtains. When we felines are at the top, as is natural because we are masters over humanz, we are either stuck in a tree as the missed opportunity of a bird meal or hanging out atop your tallest cabinet surveying our kingdom or the tops of human heads.
