In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Helpless. |Helplessness: that dull, sick feeling of not being the one at the reins. When did you last feel like that –- and what did you do about it?”
Good Flynn: I was in dire straits and in public. I could only look at Mom speechless and prop my head on the pew due to my head was swimming and my vision was dimming. I tried getting up and following Mom to rest inside the car but couldn’t make it and collapsed on the pew. I could only wait until the BIG diabetic tablet too effect while I lay helpless on my Dad’s lap dying. Within a few minutes,I was revived and continued the rest of the day sleeping.
Evil Kitty: You humanz make living so complicated. We felines don’t pass out but take long naps and usually after a good, hearty meal of soft meat in gravy. Hmm. That’s lip licking good! We don’t usually make a scene if we’re feeling terrible but just close our eyes and nap. And after a few hours, we’re refreshed and ready to patrol our territory.
