In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “I Pledge Allegiance. | Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?”
Good Flynn: I remember saying the pledge of allegiance to the flag during my elementary classes. We had our right palm over our hearts and we stood up facing the flag every morning before class. I guess we adults are no longer patriotic since we don’t do that anymore.
Evil Kitty: I’m not sure about patriotism or flags. We felines only care about ourselves, hence we appear aloof and unconcerned. But we do care about our country as long as our food source is readily available and tax-exempt.
