In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Through the Window. | Go to the nearest window. Look out for a full minute. Write about what you saw.”
Good Flynn: In the distance, I see a large metallic crane. Above it, the setting sun shines into my eyes. The fruit trees of our backyard sways to the gentle breeze. The skies are filled with lazy sylphs and a few lazy chemtrails.
Evil Kitty: I see a bird wading in your bird bath and shaking its feathers in the water. Then there are those flying insects you call hornets or yellow jackets taking their refreshments of bath water. I also see some smaller birds taking flight in the skies and some larger ones pecking on the ground and looking for food. Can I go outdoors and take a closer look?
