In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Dictionary, Shmictionary. | Time to confess: tell us about a time when you used a word whose meaning you didn’t actually know (or were very wrong about, in retrospect).”
Good Flynn: It was a foreign word. I mispronounced that word and the adults could only laugh as I tried to pronounce the various possible corrections.
Evil Kitty: We felines don’t mispronounce word, for we only meow and that’s enough weight to get our message across. Purr is the other word and so is hiss. I hope you humanz don’t hiss back at us or y’all get scratched.
