So while I’m free and clear, being secured and locked down at my parents place, there’s always the little annoyances that go with KARMIC DEBT!
For example, I’ve got normal parents, loving, kind, and understanding. They don’t show-off that they travel first class or hang around with white friends, like Chuck does.
But like him and others of his generation, they’re not willing and able to try/learn new things. At least Cheese, who is eight years his junior can use her smartphone.
So I’m estimating for anyone doing long-term strategic planning and logistics is to allow a variance of twenty years. I’d say the target market would be most profitable with this spread in chronological age, with a deferential of say plus or minus 15%, as per my incoming thought time logged on 1235 pm.
After seven o’clock mass, we ate breakfast at Denny’s restaurant with a religious Filipino couple.
We shopped for grocery at the Vietnamese store and bottled water next door.
We dropped off her gifts, the groceries, and changed clothes.
We shopped for Mom’s two sleeveless duster/moo-moos and Dad’s hand-held citrus juicer at Kohl’s and redeemed our 20% of everything and $30 discount!
We shopped for lunch at Kim Tar restaurant and got Mom’s favorite red bean sauce in three little sauce containers.
We shopped at 99 Ranch Market for Mom’s dumpling ingredients to boil and add into the Won Ton soup of the previous restaurant, knowing the ingredients weren’t enough.
We went home and prepared the dining table set for one o’clock in the afternoon. I threw out lots of plastic bags and containers and paper products, too. And this is just for groceries.
And that’s how today’s Mother’s Day is handled until something triggers the emotional sentiments of these hormonal bags of mostly water.
Oh, yeah, Father Dang said prayers yesterday evening and early this morning for all mothers, grandmothers, and stepmother.
Amen.
