En route route home bound after the 1.5 hour seminar about Business Etiquette at my head hunter, there were three synchronized events. These might be Men In Black.
Upon my arival, One was a silver hatchback. The burly whitish guy got out of his car, looked in my general direction through his dark shades, and had trouble opening his trunk. The time was 0709. This was immediately after my exit from the theme park.
Upon my arrival, One was dark green sedan. It reversed from behind a VERY long flat bed tow truck. The sedan suddenly pulled closed behind me and then to the next left lane. The time was 0714. This was under the over pass before the SJC exit.
There was a BIG shiny, black Cadillac SUV traveling second from the right lane with white lettrings of TCP/whatever number on the lower left bumper. I was thinking of limousines.
I kept thinking that the “network” got nothing to do. Since my missing smartphone might still be at work, I was thinking that the tracking devices might be installed on my Ford Mustang.
I smiled widely, thinking I better watch the car in front of me because the shade of the setting sun made my ability to drive safely and brake carefully difficult.
I learned in the free seminar that you can’t really “friend” a boss on Facebook, can’t use electronic devices during meetings or video /Web conferences, and cannot be too careful publicizing personal data without employers finding out. Facebook owns your stuff long after deletion. Twitter and LinkedIn are the same, be professional.
