Well, Philip my favorite reptiloid was diffusing a situation, err, having a go, err, livening up the dense atmosphere of this place.
Ty was acting up, pretending to palm down, like a rabid gorilla, the workstation divider between his desk and the boss. He had that wild look in his face/eyes.
And with my other “sense”, I picked up that Philip was being cautious and observant because of my “concern”.
Dudes! My mother is spot on when it comes creepy guys she never met. She doesn’t mind if I get an older guy as long as she “senses” his motives towards moi is “nice”. So I offhandly mentioned my boss. Yup.
Why Flynn? He has spunk dammit! While yucking it up with Ty, I saw Philip jump up from his chair while still in a seated position. This was after handing them the receipt of foreign/international check for replacement from collection.
It’s like, I’m heck a younger, but this older dude is totally full of energy. I can’t even keep up with the stamina of my parents or the endurance of Das Squirrel and his long-distance marathon running.
Incoming thought at 2109. These are old souls! That’s why they are so, well, blessed with amenities that others, like moi, lack, such as intelligence, charisma, and fun. No wonder I’m really bored! I’m not an old soul after all. Damn their ancient exuberance.
Philip: I don’t care what they say/think about you.
I mumbled under my breath that Ty is an artist, meaning that his brain wiring is different. Thus he responds differently to various situations.
I know and saw that Laurie is giving Philip feedback via the Instant Messenger. Bitch. Rosemary is giving Philip the cold shoulder, after he asked he something and she said she didn’t know and continued staring at her computer monitor. It’s like I’m surrounded by freaks with attitudes. I could sense Laurie got a bit spiffy when I reviewed her work.
Also, I volunteered again to oversee a March 31 deadline, in which I’m supposed to extract the invoices of a customer that is not authorized to take discounts and plug in the amounts and date paid.
So I’ve got that damn projects. I’ll dump the daily crap onto Laurie, then. Sheesh! I don’t mind doing overtime work but the temp agency costs too much.
And Philip panicked again towards 1600 about the small miscellaneous church, which be forgot. Right there, he’s wearing down. I panicked too, not wanting him to short circuit on a Friday night. So I grabbed the miscellaneous folder of checks and found the missing item. He was standing right up close and next to my left that I felt his tummy upon my left arm. I like his energy signature, the way. It’s hot! Uncle Phil and his quest for money. Bah!
