Facepalm time!
So the four of us had a quick meeting in the Maverick room. I’ve learned a lot from a Philip, my favorite tongue-flicking, reptiloid.
We got lost finding him in the other conference room. He goes so fast, impatient if he leaves people in the wake. I had moved from one side of the wall to where the other two were seated.
The old dark grayish fart joked twice something about winning the lottery and something about buying Kauai.
I was taking notes and unsuccessfully tried to curl into a ball. I closed my eyes tight, grinned my teeth into a smile, and pinched my nasal bridge with my right fingers.
I was totally embarrassed! I told y’all! He’s a freaking spook! Logistics and strategy. There’s something about him I can’t explain. Again, something familiar! But, I don’t know what!
The place was freaking stuffy because I came back from my mid-morning break. So I took my cream, ribbed sweater off. Of course, I was glad to wear my green (a la reptilian coloured) camp shirt. He seemed to look into my direction and I wondered what he was thinking. I liked to tease guys. Hehe! My right forearm veins were popping out.
After the meeting, he said something about stabbing him in the eye. Y’all see folks, it’s his freedom of speech. Only in America. These reptilians are noted for harsh language and violent sarcasm. But I love them for being damn brutes, nonetheless.
I was walking fast and slightly behind Laurie who let out her coughs as if she doesn’t want be to be closing in on her. The freak thinks I’m a Cinch, too. Rosemary took the left aisle.
I forgot my plastic bottled water. I sent an IM to Philip but nothing happened after one minute. So my poor water bottle is alone in the dark. It’s the second time I forgot that sucker. That should trigger these fools of my early dementia.
Afterwards he showed us the filing for the EFT and WIRE. Laurie was being silent. Rosemary didn’t like new stuff but has been around four to five years and knows stuff.
Philip is showing us the correct way of doing things from review and approve to four steps process and that’s more than appreciated, it’s necessary.
Then I got the NEW dump of invoicing through Ariba. He kinda/sorta looks into Rosemary’s desk first. But the old fart didn’t want to take anymore crap.
So old Philip walks to my desk, shows Ty’s email dated 3/11/15, and hands me the page. I showed Philip Jackie’s SOP that she created on the fly, which is moi, of course.
I told old Philip that I’ll take care of it. Because he knew I didn’t mind and could do it. When Rosemary and I did a walk through together at her desk last month, it was freaking easy!
But if I mess up it’s because I always do! Bahaha! My bad!
