Bad news: I’m sad. I really don’t feel motivated to work or live anymore. I’m really tired. My energy was temporary in the premise that I’d stay only a few months. I have no intention of working full time. There’s no future for me. I’m ready to head on outta here.
Good news: There may be an opening for permanent job placement. There may be a supervisory role. The pay rate will be lower than what the AP is paying the head hunter/temp agency.
Funny news: My spider sense was correct. Philip the temporary boss was acting “funny” yesterday. I was returning from my lunch walk and was trying to avoid his gaze!
So today he pulled me aside for an informal meeting in one of the conference room. It started out with Mike and the eval. Then it shifted to me. I knew it!
He should have invited me for drinks, say, tomorrow Friday after work, and THAT is where the fun really starts. But he was being cautious and professional as I too was being eval, which sounds like EVIL!
The sad part was that both of us were looking for the correct job since the market crash in 2008. Full circle, huh. We’ll see what happens. He’s really too talented for a low-paying job. Hmm, job. That blows! Bah!
