Yeah, we watched Bruno Mars on SNL. Dad was excited and kept mentioning him for the part few days after last week’s announcement. He even looked up when I mentioned the brief appearance of him on the screen. He was reading the round by round boxing results of Pachiao and Algieri.
I personally liked the synchronized dancing with the four black guys. As per my old blog, I mentioned how the black folks dance better, more expressively, and preferably in groups, a la “group dancing”.
The singer sounds like a Michael Jackson. Yeah, that’s about it. All that pinkish, purplish flashing lights didn’t do much to excite or help me to hear the lyrics with all that noise.
The skit for that Mason guy and his fiancee bride was funny. The opening act with the Bill bring pushed down Capitol Hill and the Executive Order.
The Big Baby skit was hilarious. I could see how the black couple almost lost their character. Mom thought the black Annie was a man. The actor playing the Jamie Foxx character looked freaked out by her pretend advances.
Overall, this time SNL was funny enough that I’ve sustained a headache from forcing my laughter.
Mom is sleeping. Now it’s that zoo guy. Funny stuff. Haha.
