So about five minutes ago, I’ve got a political call from Redding, CA. The guy said that I was his first call. I told him, “Good luck!”

He then proceeded to ask questions for statistical purposes only:

May I ask your city? San Jose, CA.

What is your age? Decline to state.

May I ask what is your age group? Fifty-ish.

What is your ethnicity? Decline to state.

What is your race? I’m am American citizen. (He replied, “Amen to that.”)

If you could vote today and another similar question, who you vote for Jerry Brown or the other guy? Republican!

That’s all I have to ask for tonight.

I said, “You have a good day.”

That’s how you take political calls. Don’t lie. Be polite. They could be agents.
