Howdy y’all: This is Flynn with an unsatisfactory bathroom job.
One photo shows exposed wooden pieces leveling the new bathroom vanity. It shows my two blue colored note tabs pointing to the annoyance.
The second photo shows trash left over from the floor tile job, which should be picked up when everything is finished.
I wouldn’t recommend signing any contact if they don’t help haul away trash. They’re weird.
I had to go out of my way to retrieve recyclables of mostly cardboard boxes and plastic pieces and plastic bottles from these trash bags and use a box cutter.
During last Thursday evening when my parents gave the Persian $300 cash for doing odd jobs that none else would do kindly, I stuffed our recycling bin with the leftover BIG box of our new toilet.
I didn’t want anything to go to “waste”. What was wasted was our $22,000 and an extra $879 prior on the Friday prior to Labor Day for the errors of these vanity cabinets and another $1,000 for mirrors that haven’t arrived.
These people must think we’re Asians or something, where time or waiting one month longer than the estimated completion date means nothing to them. They failed to realize the stress on elderly people for waiting. We’re Americans, not Israelis!
The third photo shows a tall wooden cabinet that they couldn’t return for a full refund! Eddie wouldn’t take it. I tried to contact Habitat for Humanity offer his suggestion but we didn’t have any way of delivering our donation.
We did, however, manage to find space in our garage. And yesterday Dad helped me haul the item from our backyard to the garage.
To make the cabinet lighter to carry, I removed the four front doors. I love this VERY light-weight material! The design is excellent and nicely painted.
That’s how I move HEAVY furniture on my own during my interior designing mode/rampage – by removing drawers or anything easily moveable.
So yesterday again, we took three hours cleaning the garage, finding the wood through dry walls to retrofit and secure the tall cabinet to the studs, and stuffing it with my shoes!
Eddie still owes us the mysteriously missing shelves of at least two to three pieces, since we did purchase this cabinet originally meant for the upstairs vanity bathroom. We want those slow-motion bumpers for this cabinet AND for Mom’s smaller vanity sink upstairs.
I understand construction jobs can be behind schedule. I understand business is business. I understand none would do any job without money. I understand that Eddie is acting nice and that’s suspicious. Whatever.
With kits of hisses,
Evil Kitty
