Well yesterday was blithely HOT! And that was fine by me as I walked slowly outdoors during my three breaks – 15/30/15 minutes each.
The HOT sunshine warmed my bones, which were frigid from the COLD air conditioner at the temp job from hell. It’s nice to COOL down quickly indoors after my HOT walks outdoors. I told Angela that yesterday after my lunch walk. It seems that breaks are important for her. I guess it’s all about compliance/going by the book. She’s smart like Marie.
Anyway, a big sylph was hovering nearby/north of our area/my neighborhood. The skies were amazingly clear/blue. I almost wanted to take a photo but continued reading the dark themed reader through my dark sunglasses. So I end up just reading the post titles/content excerpts. I swear nothing seems to be working out for me!
Everyday, I have to struggle with my blue/heavy/roller cooler, which contains my lunch container AND handbag. The lunch container has Mom’s two/old hospital water bottle, snacks of three fudge chocolate fiber bars and one banana, one container of lunch (which I warm separately in the morning/microwave from its from frozen PLASTIC tomb to our ceramic dishes). The handbag is new from Ross and is a system failure: It’s too narrow but perfect upright and sideways.
Yeah, that’s my typical work week – struggle with food/hydration and work with payroll, light AR collections, processing bid proposals, and god knows whatever bullcrap/shit thrown my way. I had to text the missing boss after work to find out if she still wants me to show up tomorrow/Friday.
I guess if they want to hold me hostage beyond the one-month temp deal, then I’m game; since the place is just a “hop and skip” away from homebase. I really shouldn’t rant but honestly I hate working and likewise I hate staying home and being dogged by two elderly farts.
However, I think I cannot leave them just yet because Mom accidentally administered her FAST-ACTING insulin inject instead of the SLOW-ACTING version. So that’s my karma to myself/everyone. Death to y’all! I mean, thanks for the blessings of HOT weather and distractions from dying. Amen-Ra!
