Blessed be! I’ve been working! Alas, I keep making mistakes, which is why I prefer my low-level consultant work as a temp girl from hell! That’s right! I’m trouble-incarnate! I really try my hardest to absorb the SOP (standard operating procedures). But sometimes I lack focus/attention and my excitability probably freaks out the more seasoned/mature co-workers.
Today, I made a few collection calls. Again, I expressed in my old blog that my communication skills is VERY poor and my Ingrish is NOT so great. I love the convenience emailing data/contacting the A/P (accounts payable) departments of these medium to large-sized companies. Unfortunately, that’s like a “hard-copy” paper but only electronically. That’s why I’m supposed to make phone calls instead to avoid anything that might “blow-up” later on from clerical error.
That’s why I like “data-entry”. Although it’s a non-thinking function, it gets tedious and boring. I think I like talking over the phone. But I tend to get too loud/boisterous, answering incorrectly from nervousness, and simply slamming, or rattling, the receiver after hanging up manually by pressing the “hang-up” button phone.
Anyway, I walked around slower and enjoyed the cool breeze. Sylphs ahoy this afternoon. During mid-afternoon walk, I see three ruffians hanging outside their car parked the cul-de-sac. I paid no real attention but their style is outmoded from the 80’s. I was giggling because their choice of music is some sort of Latino. I couldn’t figure them out. But as I returned my walk on the opposite sidewalk with their being the unpaved border to mobile homes, I pulled out Shrimpsei’s nano-pendant and let it hang free-willie from it’s cord. I saw one bandana guy look directly into my direction. But I kept my thoughts entertained elsewhere.
So that’s all the excitement I had – emailing/calling customers and watching guys. The only other excitement was attending the Sedar dinner tonight at our local hall. One white guy at the end of our table was flashing Masonic signs. I flashed several pyramid signs and noticed that he lowered his after I did a couple of mine. so it’s true the lodge members in attendance are Masonic. I must be the only female with that sort of male-oriented knowledge.
Once again, spooks abound, like this mornings motorcycle cops parked opposite OUR street sidewalk. The handsome reptilian coppers truly gained our city some much needed revenue. It’s a pity that lots of speeders don’t realize their are doomed to get tickets this morning. It’s for our public safety, of course; since the VTA/Bart system will be live in a few years.
After work this afternoon, I noticed another handsome/bald-headed reptilian waiting on the corner. I was ranting up a storm inside my car with the driver side window rolled down. I had a feeling I did something “wrong” because as soon as the street-light turned green, the copper moved from the southern corner and walked towards his parked motorcycle. I wasn’t going to take a chance and get a ticket! So I had to make a U-turn and drive home the long way.
To the SJPD, it’s good y’all are doing your random “audit” of my requested sites o’ plenty. And there is really no one stalker following me. It’s the hoards of spooks that I will loosely label to include my favorite alphabet soup agency harboring my initials and other chumps that time their presence by opening/closing their doors/trunks of parked vehicles upon my arrival. I swear this happens to me almost EVERYDAY but no one outside our “fold” won’t believe me/us because, yeah, we’re weird.
