Yeah, we in San Jose, CA are vulnerable to Electro-Magnetic Pulse. There are lots of computers here in Silicon Valley, you know! Mom can’t breathe/sleep well at night without her CPAP machine. We need our frozen foods from DeCA and Nutrisystem and insulins refrigerated. Our ADT video surveillance system is “live” 24/7. We want electricity to live “comfortably” in this modern era/boring suburbs.

If we will end up paying higher cost for an EFFECTIVE “back-up”, then so be it… Otherwise, we will prepare for the worse. We have lots of waxed candles and hopefully that should be “hot” enough to cook a meal.
