This morning, I served as “Cup” minister. I keep forgetting to wait until the “Host” minister received their sip from one of the “Cup” minister.
I took the letter “A” position next to the choir. This section serves the “cry room”, “choir box”, and general “St. Joseph” section up front.
The school children are located in this location, since the parish school is just beyond/behind the door, past the “cry room”.
It is better to serve the section with the most people, so that I won’t have to drink the remaining swill, which Sister Sara came up/ asked if there was some left. But I lied/dunked my ragged linen cloth into my cup instead. Bahaha!
Most Asians/Vietnamese/school children were behalf, except one old Filipino woman who somewhat grabbed my cup, turned it counter-clockwise, lefty her damn lipstick on it, and somewhat returned/pushed my cup back/into my hands.
I am careful to wipe and use each part of the ragged linen cloth, including they back side, too!
Last night, the wiser cracker said my ego was too big because although I could read notes for playing piano, I cannot sing notes well enough. She said I was old enough to decide if I want to serve as Music minister and/or Communion minister.
