To the Boss:
Yeah, I heard you talk loud about “see you for rehearsal Thursday night”. I signaled with my left hand downward. I’ll also show up for that singing function for the typhoon victims, which TPTB and pals initially quoted as 10,000 dead, then 4,000 dead this morning with 600,000 homeless.
Honestly, they don’t need help because they’ve been through worse kinds of weather. The “photo-op” from this morning on cable news programming by the mainstream media show the fat/healthy ones scampering for food, taking the “hand-outs” from the nice Americans from their military helicopters.
Anyway, Paw already donated one bill to a Filipino woman with brown-tanned skin, who kept looking at me from the Lector’s seat during mid-morning mass today. And so for preparedness, I placed four white/security envelopes in Maw’s handbag and four in mine, in case chumps like her “ask” us “what we are doing today/whenever”.
“You can trust me”. she said as she folded and stuffed the bill into her right pocket of her black/funeral/grieving outfit galore.
She really does NOT like me as a person but probably thought she could use me again today at three o’clock for a sponsorship for the typhoon victims. She used me once to sit-in during her nomination to a school board and is good at gathering her “people” to boost her moral support. She’s the fidgety coo-coo head I mentioned.
Twice she has motioned subtly for me to go away/shoo – as if I don’t need you/don’t believe you. I kid you NOT – again because I have NOT been “tainted” by “society” in a cult of personality. Next time, I’ll have to exit the side door and down the ally way between the parish and school, instead of through the vestibule and out the double/main/big wooden doors of the main parish.
That location is a breeding ground for troubled people to “gossip” or at least talk about small things in life.
As for you Maw, I missed my “friend” and forgot to ask you Dad of her whereabouts when he set his music material in front of me and mentioned something about eating turkey if it is good. I replied while walking away fast that we cook our own dry turkey, which is still good enough to eat.
Thanks for “picking up” my thoughts about “mimicking” how people lower/raise/hold their hands/arms and for “motioning” to the guys to march towards the center aisles. Your thoughts and mine must be in sync. Or maybe I tend to think aloud about stuff and you happen to response to my reality/dimension.
We guessed that the cane lady complains too much and I guess that people are too old/stubborn to follow/listen to the changes shared/suggested by Sister Sara. So instead of receiving Communion at the choir section, we will trod down the center aisle, just like in the past.
I was talking to the cane lady about her deceased son, who suffered a stroke back in 2011 and due to overworking/impressing his boss. Her son was a manager and he was the “nice” one – the middle of three sons. He was 42 years old and would have been around my current age.
Oh, please don’t get “hurt feelings” if you happen to absorb our stray thoughts, no matter how negative! Learn to discern the voice of Flynn from others and learn. (I rhymed again). When I sent you a thought that “this is Flynn”, that was moi! That’s so you won’t think it’s all in your head, idiot!
The brutal audience said our singing was “well-blended”. Based on this mid-morning’s attendance, today’s group is good. I don’t know/think we’d sound good this Friday. I’d wish you send me an email or text message for any update, in case the accompanist needs the music, which really helped her!
[“Hark how the bells, we need your help. Send us some dough.”] Haha!
