I finished reading a recent poetry on my WordPress.com Reader about this “Matryoshka”. My first thought (after seeing these beautifully-painted/colored dolls from largest to smallest) were the layers of layers of onion peeling away an individual’s identity to reveal the truth – that each of us has a multitude of “inner beings” – each one unique in “size” up close (the ego) but really the same in appearance from “far away” (the soul).
Yikes! I was actually thinking of the “Legion” of demons possessing the host/victim from an online article about naughty djinns and how a blessed Sheikh prayed over someone, who used his martial arts training (a la Buddhist and pals) to harness the “chi power”, which really belonged to these naughty djinns, who resided inside his stomach and saw through his “human eyes”. The story went on to say that he drank the blessed water of the Sheikh for a few more days to “vomit” out the remaining “ectoplasm” from within, I think.
Anyway, I love a good story. Sometimes scary stories shake up my/our reality to keep from being “bored”. And with infinity being such a slong time, heck, learning about ourselves and who or what “gifts” we got to offer to each other via the Source of our “Lawd Gawd” – to listen to the inner voice and realize that we should take each step slowly and understand our true nature as “loving beings”.
