Per my smartphone notes on 20131018 at 1915:
Maw talked about her childhood. The story was about how the town folks lured wild boars, which would get “sabog” (or hit) over head with fallen coconut. Then my maternal Lola Valeriana would get her share – half for her and half for the others. The kids, however, don’t like the 0taste of wild boar.
Earlier this morning, Maw shared another story she heard over our local radio station. The family had a 14 year old chicken. It would lay eggs everyday. One day the family saw the chicken “swimming” on the surface of the swimming pool. However, it was stiff as board. Out of love for their beloved pet chicken, they administered CPR for three hours. The old chicken was revived and upon awakening it laid its egg(s).
