Well, I just blew out a green booger from my left sinus. It’s allergies. The sinus pressure and nasal congestion continue. I was gagging/lost my voice during the “Holy, Holy, Holy” this mid-morning. I felt hot under the collar and had to remove the topmost button to cool off. I knew I was sick and had to hold back my cough “spells” while pretending to mouth the hymn.
Earlier this evening, I felt a “pop” on my right wrist. Lo and behold, I saw a red mark. It is raise. It looks like a miniature hive. It is directly over my now popping vein. Maw said it was the pre-packaged food. At that time, I was browsing the “Shop” section of my new NOOK, which the Boss inquired between that and Kindle, and held it up to show the original choir master, who refused because old people don’t know how to use electronic devices.
Anyway, Maw noticed the Boss talking with Kathy, whom I talked with about her driving in the WRONG direction of the unpaved/dirt road, which didn’t have any attendant. I was sitting inside the Mazda Protégé watching her reverse out of the way. She found a second slot to the right-most area, nearest the sidewalk. It was wide enough for a wide pick-up truck.
So I re-parked the car to the left-most section, nearest the stairway leading to the eastside parking lot of our local parish. The mass went well. But I was not listening/could hear the priest speaking and was busying myself with the NOOK and “practicing” what areas I could sing for “On Eagle’s Wings”. The complex version switched from D-major to E-flat major. But the “Music Issue” only had the former.
We left and then relaxed at home.
