Forgot about an old thought for a couple of weeks now. Heard over our local radio station some snippets of Ronnie Lot (former football player/star) speaking about the issue of brain/skull concussions.
Herein is also some delayed detail/thought that must be covered by any healthcare insurance, which is why ObamaCare must be delayed or at least revised to ensure/include the protection of players in contact/violent/recreational/whatever sports.
These companies/franchises/unions/whatever must implement policies to aide/protect/treat players who sustain any form of concussion. They must have immediate access emergency care, no matter how mild/minor the concussion/injury.
I was/will be a sports fan of football and, yes, wrestling. I do feel their pain but also their pride/joy in the game. I’m NOT as sensitive a soul as Maw and the jobless surfer, but tough enough among the likes of Shrimp-eaters and his purple-colored pals.
