To the Boss:
Are you feeling okay? Your pale face didn’t look good during mid-morning mass today. I messed up harmony.
The old choir member who sang harmony with me complained about Sister Sara possibly taking away Good Friday. I mentioned that the feminine “Nazi” is singing too loud over the microphone; messing up people; and changing the music.
What is the point of having a core conductor/music director if she dictates everything/everyone? For one week, I’ve been praying that you’d be okay with our local parish.
Thanks for the 2014 Supplement Keyboard Accompaniment (ocp.org) – I’m not sure if the handwriting on blue sticky note is yours, and “Angel’s Choir” (by John Rutter) of which I cried a little bit at the second verse before the first Gloria verse. Are y’all sure I’m NOT needed for anything else? Interesting/positive feedback.
Anyway, at the vestibule, en route to mass, one Mexicana/white/short-haired/brunette lady at sign-up sheet table for three Bible readings/seminars/lectures/whatever, hugged/thanked me for singing so well during yesterday morning’s mass (Saturday 8 AM).
(Off-topic: Besides making Amen to your Mom for delicious food/new music before mid-morning mass, made Amen to Inday, an old Visayan lady in your Mom’s “Legion” yesterday after morning mass. Her mind may be going away but she liked my “blond ambition” hair.)
Thanks,
Flynn…
