For about ONE HOUR, Mr Bully the turquoise parakeet has stuffed himself like a “Butterball” turkey. Earlier, he was so hungry that he escaped the main cage, in which Mr Mel, the retarded Lutino parakeet, bit Bully’s tail to remove the offending sick bird from his favorite tree branch.

I had a difficult time getting the bloated one into the cage and couldn’t figure out why he kept buzzing my head/hands and the kitchen sink.

It turns out that he was starving out of delirium because I could see his crop was no longer distended from overeating. Now it’s full again. No wonder he is sick with renal insufficiency and liver disease. He won’t stop eating himself to death!
