For a while, I’ve been noticing that the “Apostles’ Creed” prayer needed modifications to fit my nagging thoughts. Since I’m supposed to be an practicing yet “unconfirmed” Catholic, I’ll be using the following passage as a model. I’ve made changes in bold fonts.
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of everythingheaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, barely died and was buried;
he descended into hell and rescued his people;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven via a tracker-beam,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the HolycatholicChurch,
the communion of angels, martyrs and saints,
the forgiveness of sins and sinners,
the resurrection of the body and memories,
and life everlasting without karmic cords. Amen.[20][21]
