Pay It Forward | http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pay+it+forward
Around 22:00, I answered a “thought question” regarding “pay it forward” on my other registered WordPress.com weblog. I didn’t understand/know the meaning of “pay it forward” and re/searched online the definition. It sounded “English” or at least “socialist” because of the word “forward”, the new campaign slogan for Obama.
Within a few minutes of reading a couple of sentences from three re/sources online, my revelation was obvious: I won’t get my money back. Why? My initial “intentions” were clear – cut and dry many years ago and prior to the “first contact”. They already “knew” that I didn’t have the heart to go after something that was supposed to have been a “good deed”.
Instead of “getting what I deserve” in the form of “entitlement”, I can observe all around/within me other “blessings in disguise” of loving family members and other amenities, such as the better living conditions and a better state of mind, meaning I’m less worried and stressed and have learned to practice what teachers have taught their students: be true, be well and above all be honest.
And although my family members expected much from me, the current reality set has been a grave disappointment. I haven’t a clue what happened to my “hard work”. All I know is that I “helped” complete STRANGERS. Yet I could not give my loved ones everything. I could not be with them at all times. I could not meet their highest expectations of having lots of friends, keeping a well paying job and enjoying life to the fullest with them.
I really held my hopes high but it went dry. And tonight, I contacted yet another “meme” in an attempt to continue what I do best: “pay it forward”. Fin.
