20120520-Random Notes

Here are my boring notes of boring events in my boring life:

2200. Maw saw my newly arranged, Feng-Shui compliant computer bedroom. I showed her my “Compass Method” guide, the size of a plastic credit card and the nice colors for each direction. “You are starting to sound like Lindsey and her superstition!” ~Maw said to moi as she walked away into her room. Whatever! At least I can appreciate being part ASIAN! Bah!

Anyway, the “west” wall to MY computer bedroom now has the computer workstation to the left with the mirrored drawers in the middle and the tall amoire to the right (or left of the black/glass closet doors), which are correctly “dark black” and anchors the “north” wall. The regular white paper inside my Canon MP170 printer anchors the “west” wall. Two plastic cleaning tools are a red dust pan and an orange “Royal” Commercial Sweeper | Quality Since 1905. Both anchor the “south” wall. The green-colored, Batik bedspread anchors the “east” wall. The sheet was from the Twit, who didn’t like the design from a friend” and it was modified much better by Maw long ago. Now all I need are the pink (SW) and purple (SE). Those two colors are lacking in our furnishings and other materials at home.

2152. Just recalled what Maw told/demonstrated to me about the boy saying: “I am home, (Mom).” While he rubbed her left hand and chewed his food after running a marathon that Saturday morning.

2055. Smelled something sweet evaporating from the washing machine. Found out that Shrimpsei’s first nano pendent to moi was washed for the THIRD time because I left that and the quarter-sized nano-gold discus inside the pockets to my double-knit, brown-colored, turtle-necked vest! That sucker really wants to be washed or just like swimming in water or something.

1915. While eating dinner, we were watching the Science Channel about the ISS taking lots of images of the CME (or coronal mass ejections). Had a thought about other measurements that doesn’t show up on modern instruments.

Thought about how dowsing doesn’t work and doesn’t appeal to my more scientific mind. Anyway, have the pendulum hang on an inanimate object that could conduct electricity or whatever energy from the person’s hand without the person touching the pendulum itself. The same goes for measuring CME and other scientific stuff: don’t touch/look/think/feel the instruments and see what happens to the readings/results or something like that.

1838. Seems like the eclipse started to brighten up after noticing a dimness in the backyard shading of trees around 1825. I had come downstairs to fetch electrical extension cords. Maw said there would be couple more eclipses on June four and June five this year. Okay. Big Deal.

1335. Finished gardening at noon time. Blogging again. Paw hollered that it was lunch time. I pissed off again because I was not rested.

1220. I was reading GGJr’s dream blog entry of moi, when all of a sudden the breaker switch shut off! I had plugged in my portable heater and set that on the hotter than warm, followed by cool settings of three. I was trying to dry my hair after a shower from doing the gardening after a late breakfast from 1000 to 1030 this morning.

I saw fallen seeds of dried orange/yellow plums and green golf-sized ones too. I gathered those up with my small metallic dust ban and Filipino “walis” of dried reed sticks. Then I went over to the three containers of green onion and cleaned the dried skins and cut the bent parts. Then Maw and I went out front to cut the dried flowers of white Calli lilies and fallen green stems, too. Then I used the electric blower to clean up the plastic tool holder full of spider webs and leaves. “Haunted eucalyptus leaves!” ~I kept yelling. But these were left over from areas I couldn’t reach. The other day I saw a dried “haunted eucalyptus” leave on the foot mat to our backyard sliding door. “Haunted eucalyptus leaves!”

1155. Had a thought about how useful a GPS system would be for all vehicles used by local city and county, as well as state and federal levels. That way y’all can track where your “workers” are REALLY traveling; so as to be “cost effective”. Do that as a “test” before pissing off the consumer base.

1031. Maw further described how her mother would let the wind blow away the pulp of the rice and how she used a stone mill to turn the rice into flour. I then recalled seeing late aunt-in-law Hely using our black iron with charcoal inside inside their house up in Montalban.

1029. Paw said a “palay” was the husk/shell of the rice while Maw said a “sacko” is a sack of rice.

0842. Had lucid dream of two but remembered only the first/one in which I saw a white/printed tape with red text.

0047. Heard firecrackers from cul-de-sac behind us and then one minute later off the side street on MY long stretch of road.
