The skies are overcast. The winds are still. The pre-dawn skies for the nine days of “Simbang Gabi” showed both the shiny crescent part to the left and its dimly lit darkened portion to the right of the moon. The winds then were blowing and the air was freezing. Each dawn and day was crispy and clear with some brown haziness over the horizon.
