The days are getting cooler. The winds are blowing cooler. The air was clean and fresh. The skies were crispy, clear and blue. But there were high-altitude, HAARP clouds of white. Some puffy clouds showed up, too.
Crows were “cawing” and the grown-up, baby blue jay was heard screeching in the afternoon while the parakeets enjoyed a brief gust of strong winds. This was after Maw pulled two more gray hair from my front “right” hairline. There was a third but very tiny one near the crown.
I watered the plants outdoors — both front, back and a side plot of OVERGROWN purple violet flowers. Overall, the day went smoothly as did my brief 30 minute mid-afternoon nap prior to attending this evening’s mass. We managed to find parking on the unpaved parking lot of the parish because the main parking lots were loaded with cars from the weekend’s October festival. The priest joked in the closing sermon that he prayed really hard for good weather, which was then posted in our local newspaper to show rain from Monday through Wednesday.
