While en route from this morning’s mass to my “temp job from hell”, I noticed a reddish to almost pinkish, odd-looking taxi. It looked long like the “Ghostbuster” mobile but with an antiquated, opaque sign of white color on top with the words “TAXI” printed in black. Think of your iridescent light bulb and the frosted coating: That’s the color of this “sign”. And by looking into my rear view mirror, I was the backward spelling of the word “TAXI”: It read: “IXAT”. And before being pulled into the small meeting room with the temp guy by the boss, I was about to post my findings regarding what I saw this morning.
Here are my findings:
TAXI = IXAT
“IX” is the Roman numeral for the number nine (or 9).
The letter “A” is the first digit in our alphabet of twenty-six (26).
The letter “T” is the twentieth letter or seventh letter starting from the last letter. It also looks like a number one or a crucifix.
Hence:
“IXAT” would read as 9-1-20 or 9-1-7 or 9-1-1.
Or
“IXAT” would read as 1-10-1-20 or 1-10-1-7.
While:
“TAXI” would read as 20-1-11 or 7-1-1 or 1-1-11.
