Today, I had to eat at home. Why? I forgot my food and my earrings! It’s a good thing because the parakeets had little food left. And so I scraped the dried poop from the tray and filled their resin dish made for the reptiles with seeds, gravel and grits, oat groats, dried greens and some Edible Earth. I wanted to give them a quick shower with the garden hose while the sun was shining but the winds blew cold and the twosome had just arrived from the DeCa Commissary store with some grocery.
I had to move my car out of the garage and into the driveway, thinking they’d come much later.
After cooking two blocks of Top Ramen and another circular-shaped block of noodles, we ate lunch and I helped wash the dishes. Then I brushed my teeth and threw away trash from the upstairs bathroom to the outdoor trash. (We only have one trash for garage and one for recycling upstairs).
And off I went and back to work. While Allen B. and two full-time staff were walking towards the cul-de-sac, he had waved at me and bade me a safe driving en route to home earlier. He’s such a good boy.
