Well, this morning I got my coffee and a Vietnamese guy with his usual bright smile has greeting a “Good morning”. “Thomas” than asked if I had kids. I replied that I’m single and don’t have kids but may seek a companion and adopt. He thought I looked Chinese but I told him the first “wave” of Filipinos are our parents. That’s makes us children of these emigrants the “first generation”. So that make me a NATURAL born citizen of the North American continent.

Yesterday, a clerk working the checkstand of 99 Ranch Market (in Milpitas, CA) spoke to us in Chinese. We had just purchased Maw’s eight bamboo sticks for $1.00 each and other groceries, such as catfish parts and bananas. My face truly looks Chinese, like Paw, who looks like from Hong Kong. Maw on the other hand is the friendlier-looking face. The items purchased were 13 in total and at exactly 2:00pm that day.
