Potent storm poised to pound Bay Area today

A powerful storm with strong rain and heavy winds is making its way through the Bay Area today and could drop as much as 3 inches of rain in some areas, including the Santa Cruz Mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

Wind gusts could be as high as 34 mph.
San Jose has received 3.13 inches of rain in March, bringing its seasonal total to 12.31 inches, less than 1 inch below normal.

Well, I hope the plants are happy. The downpour has been continuous since this morning. Neat! I love rain! I expect the sunshine to come out (whenever) to warm up the critters, by the way.
