Silicon Valley’s largest drinking water provider will begin to take up the issue Tuesday of whether to put fluoride in San Jose’s drinking water.
San Jose is the largest city in the United States without fluoride in its drinking water.
The key question is who would pay.

Perhaps, the wealthy people who escaped from China and Vietnam could foot the bill and help pay for poisoning “particularly low-income children without dental insurance.” I’m sure they wouldn’t mind ensuring the added cost to upgrade the equipment of their water shop businesses throughout the Bay Area and to ensure the potential for flouride would be further removed from their paid customers’ water.
Aren’t we supposed to drink natural, spring water without these chemicals? It’s bad enough that we are already drinking recycled water that still contains hormones from our poop and pee!
