I want to work from home. All I need is an easy data entry job, a VOIP to get hooked up to the company’s database and super-fast computer and high-speed internet connection. Sure, I could see myself “outsourcing my job” as a “contracted worker” but on a temporary basis. I don’t see myself as a self-employed “part-time pain in the butt” but as someone who needs a steady income to keep from going insane. It’s the feeling of belonging to a group or a purpose that gives humanity a reason to live, too. And if it means to work, then the motivation of being compensated monetarily as is the current standard of exchanges of “mahal” (or Malay word for “love”) is a given.
It’s better to work. The only time to stop working is when I cannot walk, think and eat. When there is still strength and will left in my spirit while encased in this fleshy carbon-based body of lard, I will work. Although my attitude is still stubborn and lazy, it’s the only way to keep “my family” from going homeless and dying from starvation. I don’t care if there is deception going on behind the scenes. But when someone goes online and posts personal information of distress, there’s no second thought but to take action. And when I feel the time is right, then I jump right into the “bandwagon” of selflessness; not to brag, show off and impress or achieve, accomplish and prove beyond a reasonable doubt of just “being there” for others.
And that’s what I’ve done with Group A. When they called, I played dumb. I was dumb seriously but I used my spider sense and there was nothing but blind faith and trust that goes along with the ethics of “getting the job” done, which is mostly from home, of course. And that goes without saying that I function better alone than with a team of numb skulls full of mush (as per El Rushbeau had so eloquently described the mentality of certain parasitic, bottom-feeders of society). As for Group B, they are part of Group C but I forgot why I designated the latter as that letter grade. My hope is to live within a secluded place where creeps won’t bother me. If I’m wrong or not doing the right thing, then by all means, let me know so I’ll stop “cold turkey”. Yeah, the place has to have the modern conveniences of running hot water, toilet and lots of food, clean water and fresh air.
