Control. Why do people need to control each other? If people were truly “free”, there would be no need for laws, regulations and rules.

But I see that people can makes choices between good and evil. While most people are nice, there are a few naughty ones.

For if it were not for these control mechanisms, the naughty ones would essentially harm themselves and others.

Breathing. There is no thinking required here. It’s done involuntarily. For without the air or whatever element, we’d be dead. Call it the spirit, if you will.
