Ahhh! I got bored again and it’s 1:00am in the morning. I’ve switched themes within the last 24 hours and just reverted back to the Sandbox 1.6.2 theme by plaintxt.org. I’ll never be happy until team WordPress.com comes out with a theme that has nice boxes for my “magazine” layout. Each box will contain areas of the most recent updates. That way the reader won’t have to use that nasty scrollbar — up and down!
So what do I have this time? With my paid CSS upgrade, I call my new color scheme “Mosque White”. I’m not a practicing Moslem but the color scheme is supposed to be “pure white” and holy like God. The “web-safe” colors are supposed to load up much faster but slower with a header and/or background image.
Basically, I like how the theme handles the templates for the Archives and Links. Plus, the meta entry data for my preferred TIMESTAMPS appear on both the index and single page views. As for other amenities, there is a custom menu. This leaves the sidebar free for a few choice items, such as a search bar, two image widgets, calendar, categories, tags, askimet and blog stats.
So I give up! I put two hands into the air and say:
If I can stick to this theme, I’ll be at peace. I’m not sure what is lacking or not. I’m still not feeling this layout. Whatever! I’m goind to sleep now!
